Mount the footswitch , LED and all jacks . Run the LED ’ s negative ( shorter ) leg to lug 1 on the switch . Run the last saved lead wire through lugs 4 and 9 , soldering lug 4 , but not 9 . Finally , run a piece of wire through lugs 2 and 6 , soldering lug 2 but not 6 .
This is where we will ground the whole shebang . First , run a wire from lug 6 of the switch to the negative lug on the DC jack . Solder lug 6 . Soldering as you go , wire the DC jack to the sleeve lug on the jack , then solder the DC jack . Then , a wire from one sleeve lug to the other , soldering the first but leaving the last one unsoldered .
The potentiometers on the board have tiny metal tabs that prevent them from being mounted . Snap them off with pliers , then mount the board in the enclosure . Put the knobs on the potentiometers at this time .
