GMercyU Professor Proudly Supports His (Feathered) Friends

There are fewer things in life that bring Professor Carlo
Silvesti, CPA, CGMA, MBA more joy than watching his
favorite feathered friends; whether it’s his GMercyU Griffins
succeeding in the working world or his Philadelphia Eagles
bringing home a big win, Professor Silvesti is a proud supporter
of both.
His first passion was cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles,
which he has done in-person at every single home game
(with the exception of three) since 1962. After crunching the
numbers, it comes out to 454 home games he has attended (so
far!). Professor Silvesti

It all began when he was nine years old, on Sunday, December
13, 1959. It was the last game of the season for the Eagles, who
were facing the Cleveland Browns. At that time, the Browns
were a force to be reckoned with. Sitting in the end zone in the
upper deck with his father, watching intricate offensive plays
and teammates working together, Professor Silvesti quickly fell
in love with the sport and the team.
After saving every penny in his

for the next year.
Little did he know,
the combo package
had been
discontinued
and the
