Mary Jane Gretzula '82, of Wildwood, N.J., passed away on March 8, 2018. Catherine Dello Buono McLaughlin '88, of Blue Bell, Pa., passed away on April 25, 2018. Martha Schilling '01, of Ambler, Pa., passed away on February 19, 2018. L. Hope Mangum '02, of Lansdale, Pa., passed away on April 12, 2018. Livia Sciaudone West '84, of North Hills, Pa., passed away on January 26, 2018. Sister Antoinette Marie Cocco, RSM, former music professor and founder of GMercyU’s glee club, passed away on March 25, 2018. Sister Antoinette Marie Cocco, RSM, not only had a beautiful soprano voice but also a passion and love for her students. James Morene '11 and Kristen Galanti '12, of Philadelphia, Pa., recently welcomed their second son Joshua Alexander. Sister Antoinette was a music professor and was most known for founding GMercyU's glee club, now known as the Voices of Gwynedd. She also served as the chairperson for the education department at GMercyU. In addition to her time at GMercyU, Sister Antoinette taught at the elementary and secondary level as well as ministered at Holy Cross Parish as pastoral minister. In 2005, Sister Antoinette retired to McAuley Convent and joined the prayer guild there. Stephanie Holtz, of Collegeville, Pa., is a special education teacher at Silver Spring Martin Luther School. Heather Miller, Wallingford, Pa., was recently promoted to principal at William Hunter Elementary School in Philadelphia, Pa. Danielle Rainer, of Philadelphia, Pa., is currently interning in New York City with OmnicomHealthGroup. "Sister Antoinette graciously retired and handed off her most prized accomplishment to me," Voices of Gwynedd Director and Assistant Professor of Music Carol Evans said. "It never failed, every year right around our concert times, Sister Antoinette would call me and tell me that she was going on retreat to pray for the Voices, for all our music and for me. She was truly our angel of music and we will never forget her." Rev. Jack Nevins, former chaplain and faculty member, passed away on June 23, 2018. Father Nevins, known as 'Rev Nev', served as the college chaplain at GMercyU from 1980 to 1986.
