Mitros was given a spot on the Second

and freshman Alyssa Tomsic were both
given honorable mention nods. Ten

Griffin Softball put together a record-
breaking season this spring, posting a
program-record best 30-7 mark, and a

playoff seed for the first time in school
history. They were knocked out of the
playoffs, however, losing to Neumann
University in an elimination game of the
CSAC Tournament. Sophomore Melissa

Year and she made First-Team All CSAC.

Tournament, but their run was cut short
by Cabrini University in a semifinal
defeat. Freshman Max Schneider was
named the CSAC Rookie of the Year and

the breakout star of the season, earning
the title of CSAC’s Field Athlete of the
Year and getting first-team nods in six
different events. Junior Chyanne Fine
joined Dunham on the first team for her
performance in the discus. Fine was also
given a spot on CSAC’s Second Team for
her success in the shot put. Junior Sara
Gray and sophomore Morgan Williams

efforts in the High Jump and the 100
Meters respectively. Gray managed to
break her own school record and set
a new one with a 1.62 meter jump at
