CA2 - Beethoven violin concert Together with a group of friends I went to the Gelders Orkest with Beethoven Violin Concert in Orpheus. In this CA I am going to explain what I knew, saw, experienced, and learned. What did I already know about Beethoven? I know Beethoven was a German composer. And that he composed numerous songs. I used to compare him with other important, great, influential composers like Mozart, Bach and Tchaikovsky. Who was Beethoven really? Ludwig van Beethoven, born on 17th of December 1770 in Bonn, was a German composer and conductor. He is considered to be one of the most famous, influential composers. When he was 11 he could already play entire songs of Bach and Mozart. On the age of 12 he wrote his first real piece. His songs have made an impact on the music in the 19th century. Some of his famous works:  9 symphonies  32 piano sonnets  10 violin sonnets  5 cello sonnets  16 strings  1 opera His music was popular in Vienna where he used to live most of his time. He died here on the 26th of March in 1827. What is The Beethoven Violin Concert? It is one of the most famous works of Beethoven in the classicism era. The first time it was performed was in 1808.
