 It was really interesting to see the actual rooms of important stadholders and Dutch royals from the past.  I was fascinating to see a garden so maintained, rooms so fair, and the buidling so majestic.  What struck me most was the expensive, elite attitude that the palace with it rooms and surroundings gave me. I know I am a bit of a snob and highly materialistic, so that explains my expensive, royal taste. I learned allot about: All the people that lived in the palace over the past  The construction  Its link with palace Le Versaille  How the people lived during the 17th until 20th century   For me the eye-opener was that the palace here in the town of Apeldoorn is much more than just a palace in the town of Apeldoorn. It is a cultural national monument with a history. It attracts visitors from all over the world. In my opinion, it is in fact a Dutch world wonder. 7
