It
was really interesting to see the actual
rooms of important stadholders and Dutch
royals from the past.
I was fascinating to see a garden so
maintained, rooms so fair, and the buidling
so majestic.
What struck me most was the expensive,
elite attitude that the palace with it rooms
and surroundings gave me. I know I am a bit
of a snob and highly materialistic, so that
explains my expensive, royal taste.
I
learned allot about:
All the people that lived in the palace over the
past
The construction
Its link with palace Le Versaille
How the people lived during the 17th until 20th
century
For
me the eye-opener was that the palace
here in the town of Apeldoorn is much more
than just a palace in the town of Apeldoorn.
It is a cultural national monument with a
history. It attracts visitors from all over the
world. In my opinion, it is in fact a Dutch
world wonder.
