3. The Lion King
General information: The Lion King is a 1994 American animated musical adventure
movie produced by Walt Disney and directed by Roger Allers and Rob Minkoff. It is
the 32nd animated film in the Walt Disney Animated Classic series.
The story takes place in a kingdom of lions in Africa, where Scar (the brother of the
king) is jealous and has a plan to kill Mufasa (the king) and his son Simba to be
king. He only gets to kill Mufasa, but sends Simba away. Simba meets Timon and
Pumba and grows up with the two. Later he realizes that he is the king and
challenges Scar. Simba wins and gets to be king of the Pride Land.

3. The Lion King
Why: I grew up watching this film. I saw it every single week in my childhood. For me it
has sentimental value. Maybe it is because one of the characters has the same
name as me. I love the instrumental music and the story line. It has everything:
romance, action, and humour. The only reason why it is on number three, is
because I am a little too old for this movie.
