Caravan treasure
rescued from
farm shed

I’d like to share with your readers
some photos of an amazing
vintage caravan we recently
rescued from a garage on a
rural property at Tarago in the
NSW Southern Tablelands.
The Vintage Caravan gurus are
still out on the van’s age with some
lively debate around the features
and construction methods placing
the possible build date from late
1930s through to the early 50s.

It’s in reasonable condition
having being garaged since
1962 and I’ve now begun
the task of restoration.
I’d welcome any feedback
from readers if they have
any knowledge of this type
of van - and look forward to
sharing some more photos as
the restoration progresses.
