“The key in working on a
simple, ordinary material or
an idea is the details and how
you interpret the idea and
implement it,” they explain.
Ofist did not experience
issues when implementing
the cork blocks throughout
the store. “We just decided
on its density to achieve the
desired result. And to avoid
dirt build up overtime.” To
prevent this a water based
varnish was applied,
therefore the wood will
require little to no
maintenance over time.
