DOT extends "Bring
Home a Friend" drive
till October 2018
T
he Philippine Department of Tourism (DOT)
has extended the Bring Home a Friend (BHAF)
campaign until October 31, 2018 to allow more
people to join.
DOT Secretary Wanda Tulfo-Teo recently
made the announcement at a press
conference, saying overwhelming public
response to the BHAF program prompted the
DOT and its partners to extend it for another six months.
Teo also disclosed that the campaign has tremendously
helped boost tourist arrivals since its launch in October last
year in the United States, Europe, Middle East and Southeast
Asia.

and invitees have the chance to win prizes.
Three sponsors and three invitees will be selected for the

unit from Megaworld Corporation, a Toyota Vios, and a gift
certificate worth PHP 200,000 at Duty Free Philippines.
Meanwhile, prizes for "invitees" include two roundtrip
international business class tickets, two roundtrip domestic
tickets from Philippines Airlines to Palawan plus six day/five
night stay at El Nido Hotel and Resort; 2nd prize, two roundtrip
international premium economy class tickets, two roundtrip
