38-year-old Filipino crew member has been
killed in a fatal accident on board geared
bulk carrier Nord Quebec at the port of Trois-
Rivières in Québec, according to reports
from local media.
An investigation in underway by the
Transportation Safety Board of Canada to
assess the accident, which took the life of a
crew member after he was hit in the head by
a steel cable during a docking manoeuvre at
the port on Monday.
The 36,546 Nord Quebec is flagged in Singapore and was built in
