Tied in a Bow: How would you describe the hair and makeup you wore? How were the hair stylists and makeup artists as a team?

Camilla: I loved how I was styled! I would describe the effect as a whole as edgy and avant garde and the team was amazing! They worked so fast and were impressively organized. I mean things backstage are always hectic, but it was well managed chaos.

Tied in a Bow: Describe how your modeling days went in New York.

Camilla: Well, the models arrived about 4 hours before the first show began. We started with a brief overview of what we would be doing, and a walk through of the show. We then went to hair and makeup, which was followed by fittings. This took about two and a half hours. After all of this we had a quick break for lunch or coffee. We came back, did touch ups, and got into our outfits. We did one last quick run through and then started the first show! As soon as the show was over, we stayed for pictures with press and important clients. From there, we repeated the whole process for the second show at a different venue with different wardrobe. After the second show was finished, we went to the after party at a glamorous club nearby. It was exhausting but so totally worth it!

Tied in a Bow: What was your favorite part of your experience modeling in Mercedes Benz Fashion Week as a whole?

Camilla: Aside from just experiencing the excitement and glamour, I would say meeting such an incredible variety of beautiful, talented people in one place was the best part.

Tied in a Bow: Does any one memory stand out the most?

Camilla: Hmmm, I'd say taking that first step onto the runway during the second show is forever burned into my memory. It was surreal stepping out and seeing the cameras flashing and the sea of faces looking at me with such excitement. I loved every minute of it!
