The treasured memories theme was carried out in the bride’s bouquet, which included a ribbon from the gown of her maternal grandmother (Eula Faye Hobson) that was embroidered with her wedding date and that of her grandmother and mother.

The newlyweds arrived at their reception in downtown Baldwyn in a red 1968 Nova, showcasing the groom’s love for old cars. Downtown Baldwyn was spot-on for the reception. White lights were draped along the brick buildings to illuminate the outdoor reception square and provide a vintage feel.

White hydrangeas were placed on lace tablecloths and crocheted doilies adorned each table as mercury glass votives flickered against the night. A vignette with wedding photos of family members and a lounge area with an antique sofa and settee created a vintage party feeling. An old-fashioned photo booth added to the fun. So did a 1940’s Ford truck that held the groom’s chocolate cake, a candy bar and a buffet of favorite foods.

Every detail from the choice of the church to restyling of the dress provided memories to treasure for years to come.
