Our volunteer led committee are all massive book lovers and we are delighted to present a programme guaranteed to delight bibliophiles of any taste. Variety is our speciality and we invite you to stretch yourself with events like Fifty Shades of Fiction, our Murder Mystery Play, and past and present Scottish literary talents like Booker nominee, Graeme Macrae Burnet, and sessions that celebrate the peerless talents of Nan Shepherd and Muriel Spark. And DON’T forget our Tidelines Taster events – one-offs that run throughout the year. We have favourites Chris Brookmyre and Stuart Cosgrove already booked for autumn/winter – details at the end of the programme. Anna Quindlen said, “Books are the plane, and the train, and the road. They are the destination, and the journey. They are home.” To each and every one of you - welcome home. at a glance Thursday 27 September Tide Lines Band HAC 7.30-10.00pm £12/£10 Saturday 29 September Graeme Macrae Burnet HAC 7.00-8.00pm Friday 28 September Janice Galloway: Muriel Spark 100 Event HAC 8.30-9.30pm £8 Fifty Shades of Fiction Over 18s only Puffers Café 6.00-7.30pm £12 Sunday 30 September £8 The Sunday Post’s Francis Gay HAC 2.00-3.00pm £6 Alex Gray HAC 3.30-4.30pm £6 Saturday 29 September Pat Young HAC 5.00-6.00pm £6 Tidelines Writing Workshop Over16s only HAC 11.00am-12noon £6 Douglas Skelton book launch HAC 6.30-7.00pm Free Pitch and Punt New Writers Event HAC 1.00-3.00pm £3 Carry on Sleuthing HAC 8.00-9.30pm £8 Dane Love Scottish Frauds and Hoaxes HAC 6.00-7.00pm £6 Cameron McNeish There’s Always the Hills HAC 8.00-9.00pm £8 The McDougalls Singalong Storybook Fullarton Connexions 2.00-3.00pm £3 Helen Bellany The Restless Wave Maritime Museum 2.00-3.00pm £10 Erlend Clouston Nan Shepherd Event HAC 3.30-4.30pm £6 Stories from the Calais Refugee Camp HAC 4.00-5.00pm £6 Struan Stevenson The Course of History HAC 5.30-6.30pm £6 Harbour Arts Centre Tel: 01294 274059 Puffers Café Tel: 07598 528063 Includes 2 cocktails (Non-alcoholic cocktails available).
