Fun for all ages
Forestry England’s High Lodge Thetford
Forest is a perfect destination for
families of all ages who enjoy the
great outdoors among trees and on
trails. There is cycling, walking and
orienteering way marked routes. Julia
Donaldson and Axel Scheffl er’s trainee
dragon Zog has his own trail and don’t
forget to say hello to the Gruffalo
and his friends too who are hidden
in the deep dark forest. The Wildplay
zone has a new feature exploring the
Hidden Heritage of High Lodge and an
interactive walk through the sites past
will be opening soon.
New for Summer ’19 we have Zorbing,
Bungie Trampolining and the return of
the climbing wall and archery, we have
also extended opening hours during
June and July to 9pm on a Friday
evening (excluding school holidays) so
you can enjoy even more time at High
Lodge Thetford Forest.
There are exciting events
over the summer too.
Forest Live is at the end
of June featuring – Foals,
Paul Weller, Jess Glynne &
Stereophonics. In August
10
there are two nights of open air
cinema on the High Lodge green in
front of the café, fi nd out more by

Rise & Shine Festival comes to High
Lodge, a one day event of wellbeing
and self-discovery offering a range of
activities and experiences.

A Birthday treat for Little Monkeys
