The rest of the styling is much
more classic Triumph chrome
and brushed aluminum, kicked
up with white piping and black/
gold pinstriping. Very classy.
Triumph unveiled these new
models as the centerpiece of
roll out parties held in trendy lo-
cations across the country. In
Cleveland, the new models were
rolled out at a warehouse style
art gallery with fan-fare - along
with the announcement of a new
Triumph Cleveland dealership
opening in early 2018. In Colum-
bus, the Triumph bash was host-
ed by Iron Pony Motorsports at
the very cool CD102.5 Big Bar
Room. This was our first time
at this very cool venue, and the
alternative rock station proved
the perfect backdrop for the cool
new Triumphs.
As an extra kicker, Triumph also
introduced us to their new 2018
Tiger 1200 and 800 – just un-
veiled in Milan the week before.
Obviously completely different in
style and purpose than the hip
“customs” they shared the stage
with – the Tigers were also com-
plete overhauls packed with new
technology and improvements
over already popular models.
