When asked about his opinion of the inaugural conference , LTC JD Wilson # 4 , Deputy Chief , Oklahoma Highway Patrol and OHSO Advisory Committee Chairperson stated , “ The Rider Coach Conference was a great success . I am so proud of the members of the Motorcycle Safety Committee who planned and executed the conference . The attendance by the statewide certified rider coaches was nearly 100 %. This says a lot regarding the enthusiasm of the coaches and the quality of training which Oklahoma motorcyclists will receive when they attend one of the numerous basic rider courses around the State .”
The Motorcycle Safety Foundation representatives were very impressed with the conference , the location and the level of participation of the rider coaches in Oklahoma . LTC JD Wilson , reiterated their praises by saying , “ This conference , in conjunction with the recent Motorcycle Safety Committee sponsored MSF Rider Coach update training , has put Oklahoma in the forefront of motorcycle training in the nation . All of us on the committee are riders and for us it ’ s a about safety , plain and simple .”
