We riders love places that allow us the feeling of being at home the moment we flip the kickstand down . My husband and I were recently looking for a good ride and overnight stay . We remembered how much we had enjoyed passing through Eureka Springs a few years ago during the Bikes , Blues and BBQ rally . Located in North West Arkansas at the intersection of Hwy 23 and Hwy 62 , it ’ s filled with Victorian charm and scenery . Many of the businesses cater to travelers and tourists as it has for most of its years . In 1879 the town was founded . It became well known for its healing springs as legends had proclaimed by many tribes who had used the spring as a healer . Word got out and tourists quickly began to travel to the town of healing . Within two years a tent camp had developed creating a population of nearly 10,000 people looking for healing and the beauty of the Arkansas hills .
