It’s all about helping people in need. Riverview Ranch River- front Resort hosts the event at their place in Bourbon, MO. The event is supported and sponsored by; A Goon Saloon, Franken Auto Repair, AAA & D Tree Service, Jeffco Towing, Sticks Used Harley-Davidson & Parts, Marquardt Truck- ing, Stick’s Chevy Shed. This year the mission was to raise money for 7 year old Chase Hamilton. He was born with Down Syndrome in 2010 and in 2015 he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He has 6 more months of treatments. When Chase and his family arrived, everyone cheered. Naturally he was drawn to the motorcycles. When I wrote this article, the amount donated had not been totaled. There was live music on Friday night for the early birds. Then Saturday had a full schedule of music, field events, bike show, and more music. If you are new to the riding scene, I suggest you attend this event to see what bikers have been doing for years. You’ll find out what field events are all about… When riders gather together and help a child, there is no reason to not have a good time doing it. It warms the heart to see a kid smile even though he is going through a life threatening ordeal. Keep an eye open for the event information next year.
