The Ole Biloxi Fillin Station
By: renee
... cajun & creole cuisine right on the coast
Once again some of the road crew took to the highways and
ended up on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast. Several years
ago, some of my friends used to go to bike night on Tuesdays
to this iconic coast restaurant. Somehow, I never managed
to make it, so it was on my destination list to review for our
readers. You already know after all these months, that I do not
write about just any old place that serves food, as they must
meet all the requirements for us to recommend a place to eat
for the motorcycle community.
The Ole Biloxi Fillin Station was first established as a filling
station (gas station for you youngsters), hence the name The
Ole Biloxi Fillin Station.
There is plenty of bike parking on the street, (see photo above)
and a parking lot as well. Our ratings as a recommendation for
the biker community are based on a few factors. Bike parking,
prompt greeting and seating, cleanliness, good service,
ambiance, affordable pricing, and of course the food!
We tried a few things, and my favorite was the catfish platter,
and my road buddies loved the burgers, and the seafood potato.
All in all, it was a good dining experience, and didn’t bust my
wallet. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor seating and tasting
some of the craft beers. Be advised though that this is a bar,
so it is not a smoke free environment. Personally, the smoke is
ok with me, but if it’s not ok for you, then there is awesome
outdoor dining on the patio. This is not you’re a-typical bar
food, so do your self a favor and the next time that you plan to
take out your skoot and ride, bring some friends and ride over to
Biloxi to The Ole Biloxi Fillin Station. We give this eatery 4.5 out
of 5 stars, and the half a point that we deducted is only because
it took a few minutes to be seated due to the lunch time crowd.
