Halloween has always been a fun time at our house . I am the parent of two “ Only Children ”. You are probably asking , “ What do I mean by that ?” Well , my children are separated by 20 years ( 34 & 14 ). Even so , it is family tradition for the oldest child , along with the grandchildren , to return to the haunt and celebrate the cuteness and fun of Halloween . Why , even our eldest granddaughter was born on Halloween ! We love to pick a theme ( Star Wars , Cavemen , Vampires ) and costume up . It is truly a family affair and a festive time .
My husband loves to decorate for the holidays , especially Halloween . He makes the house so scary that the younger neighborhood children are afraid to approach the door . I ’ ve had to go out to the sidewalk to give the little ghouls their treats .
