The long game of love should be a couple’s
focus. As a married couple, we intentionally
nurture our relationship. Therefore,
relationships need a reality check ever so often.
One of the most important things is to continue
doing the things that brought you together
initially.
Often people ask me why did I chose Timothy.
The truth of the matter is Timothy chose me a
long time ago when we were in the 8th grade.
At that time, I was just noticing boys and was
crushing on another boy whose last name was
Taylor. Timothy’s crush was filled with
confidence. He is funny, playful, alluring yet
unorthodox and extremely unpredictable. I was
afraid of him as much as I was attracted to him
in the same breath. Once all grown up, one
New Year’s Eve he called me to go out. I was
