I have had a string of toxic relationships . I thought i knew what love was before life knocked me to my knees .
Reflecting on it I believe it was God telling me to breathe . I needed to stop and really smell the roses .
Yes , cliche . But as single moms we forget to . I had to learn how to embrace every scar , extra pounds , wrinkles and now modified body .
Twenty four surgery ’ s in ten years have taken a toll on my body and soul .
True happiness is loving yourself first .
I was blessed that I had the support of my surgeon who helped me achieve this acceptance .
So ladies say no when you need to .
Go ahead and enjoy the roses and your happy place . Bubble baths , a good book , movie , ocean something or someone that helps you get your spark back .
We all need to be happy and healthy since our kids need us to be !
Should I love me for once ?
