The duo sold more than $11 mil- lion in 63 transactions in 2018. While there may be no such thing as a typical day in the life of a real estate agent, Powers and Brinson remain your typical average, ap- proachable guys. “We are relatable to our customers and share their concerns about everyday life,” said Powers. “People get stressed and we calm them down. We’re there to walk them through 62 February - March 2019 Thomasville Scene each step, whether it’s a first-time homebuyer or a client purchasing a multi-million dollar property,” said Powers. They also interjected there are a lot of people involved in a real estate transaction — lenders, attorneys, home inspectors, ap- praisers, surveyors, movers, handy men, etc. Noting it takes a complete team to put the deal together and building relationships. They grew up in Thomasville and be- came friends through playing shortstop on the Thomas County Central High School baseball team. Brinson was four years older than Powers and became a mentor to Powers.
