YOGA IS AN ACT OF SELF LOVE… What I love about Ashtanga Yoga… And you will too! Every muscle is awakened, enlivened, stretched and strengthened. There is a strong emphasis on focus. During the practice you achieve complete concentration by focusing your eyes, breath, and movement. Physically and mentally, it’s a complete workout in every way - cardiovascular, strength, endurance, mental focus, relaxation. Ashtanga Yoga is a moving meditation. You can achieve a state where your mind is completely shut-off to thought - this is the best form of stress relief and promotes calm and mental wellbeing. By following this set series of poses you can easily see, feel and measure your progress. Push yourself as hard or as little as you like, challenge your body in a new way every day while working completely at your own pace.
