Because the standards of success are everchanging it came as no surprise that , when asked about their role models , the rest of the group offered similar answers that varied from other companies like Basecamp and Devshop to individuals like Emily Weiss and Elon Musk .

Considering such a broad spectrum , Saxberg may have said it best when she offered , “ Everybody is capable of something exciting .”

Think about that . That ’ s why you ’ re reading this magazine , isn ’ t it ? The idea that everyone is capable of something exciting is exactly what makes this industry so special . Even with the copycats , the questionable ideas and the startups that go bust , it doesn ’ t stop the fashion tech industry from pushing forward . It ’ s why this group was put together – not just because they ’ re brilliant , but because the impact they and their companies are having on the industry is both inspiring and admirable .
