We finally got to the G . SKILL booth . As always , no Computex would be complete for overclocker if not for the effort and work G . SKILL puts into overclocking and their DRAM . Not only did it feature some of the veterans in the overclocking scene we got several new world records and of course crowned a new a OC Wold Cup champion in Italy ’ s Roberto “ rsannino ” Sannino who walked away with $ 10,000 USD . It may not be E-Sports gaming price money but it is significant enough to matter . Simply superb and for as long as G . SKILL is around we hope they will continue to be a key element in the overclocking scene and community , because without such vendors and their support . It doesn ’ t take a genius to figure out that all we ’ d be doing is looking at the most basic components as enthusiasts and counting the LEDs .

Throughout Computex 2017 , 11 World records and 37 Global First placings were recorded including the first 5,500MHz DDR4 record from the unlikeliest of places . They had various things in common , but at the heart of it all was G . SKILL TridentZ DDR4 , the memory of choice for virtually all overclockers the world over and these achievements were testament to that .
For the none initiated , G . SKILL was showing off some incredible sets as well including for the AM4 model , with DIMMS rated at 3,600MHz . Not to be outdone however and certainly a celebration on some incredible engineering work , G . SKILL demoed systems with DRAM frequencies as high as 4800MHz . Something tells me we may have some machines operating at 5GHz memory frequencies within the next 12 months , exciting times indeed .
Across all board vendors and across all sorts of offerings , G . SKILL had every kit available for every platform . Undoubtedly the go to memory vendor for high performance memory kits and overclocking .
