COOLER MASTER E very year one has to keep writing just how impressive the messaging has been from Cooler Master, but this year there was less talking and more showing. I have to admit that I was absolutely blown away by what Cooler Master has managed in the last two years or perhaps three since the company re-invented itself. The products speak volumes and there’s a level of quality which was previously absent in what they make and in how they promote it. For instance, the MIJ TITANIUM rated PSU is undoubtedly going to be the best consumer level PSU ever made. It had better be as well at a cool $999 (at least the time of writing). Still not in full production but definitely one for the ultra-high-end which is a place where Cooler Master previously struggled. It’s exciting to see that they have clearly arrived at this new space and now it will be up to the products to speak and perform in a way which their previous efforts could not. I can’t tell you details about the products so you’ll have to enjoy the pictures, but rest assured that it all looked and felt the part. Rarely has it happened before where one sees a Cooler Master product and “instant want” is the immediate thought or sentiment, especially at Computex. Cooler Master pulled it off though and just about everything on show including some incredible case mods made for a booth that was not only more focused than previous years but proved to me at least that Cooler Master is here to stay and perhaps back in a way that nobody could have envisioned. Impressive and convincing. If I was not a fan before, I certainly am now and definitely looking forward to seeing as many of these products in retail outlets as possible.
