ere I am, in yet are in another
issue of the magazine tasked
with putting to down on paper,
what it is about this particular
ROCCAT mouse that makes it worth
your attention. Granted, with a $49.99
retail price, it isn’t meant to be an
alternative to the likes of the Tyon
which in some regions retails for
more than double the Kova’s price.
The truth is, the price difference
between the two gaming mice is
obvious in packaging, presentation,
features and built quality. To this
day, the Tyon remains easily the
most advanced, but most enticing
mouse to ever come from ROCCAT.
That was until the introduction I late

the previous effort but are seeking
updated and improved ergonomics
in a somewhat familiar design.
The height is identical between the
two models, but the Kova is a little
longer and wider making for overall
better comfort and a larger resting
area for your palm and digits.
The front of the mouse follows
a smoother, more natural curve
unlike the previous model which had
a high and blunt front end, angled
towards the body. Not having that
overhang for your fingers is helpful
especially for those with larger
hands or longer fingers. On the
Kova, you may rest your fingers in a
more comfortable manner reducing
the gap between mouse buttons
and your digits. This seemingly
subtle change along with the extra
width help widen the grip for a
better fit and for aesthetics makes
for a sleeker mouse with a lower
centre. These changes although
small are of the utmost importance
when dealing with an ambidextrous
mouse. ROCCAT is V
