We do that by providing a voice to the hopeless,
the incapable, and the ones who just need an ex-
ample. We want to encourage and assure wom-
en that we will fight for anyone who needs us to.
That said, this month is our turn to begin play-
ing an on-going part in changing the world and
how we perceive ourselves and our contribution
in the bigger, grander scheme of things. This
month we facilitate some women who are game
changers, allowing them to use their stories to ef-
fect change and help other women. We strongly
believe that the world is waiting on us (as wom-
en) to make the necessary changes in our own
space because that is where it all begins – within.
So celebrate with us for the next three months
as we begin to make our impact through sharing
stories of these powerful game changing wom-
en just like you and me. We celebrate Kerie Kiki
Thombs who has gone through a plethora of ex-
periences and changes and now bravely shares
her story with the aim of impacting someone’s
journey. Read, as other women who overcame
the feared disease, cancer, share their journey
of facing and overcoming what many think is a
death sentence and they do so quite transparently.
They were intentional in sharing, so that the
women who need their encouragement will
rise above. Of course there’s way more fun,
fashion, financial advice and other stories in
store, but we want to take the time to thank
you for celebrating this first issue with us.
