RENEE WRIGHT FEATURE CONT’D
She recalls not telling family members about her diagnosis
including her husband and children because she did not think they could
have handled it. When she did however she got their full support along
with friends and her church family.
Above all else she makes it very clear that faith has played a signif-
icant part in her remission even more so than the traditional medicine
she opted to do. Her Christian life moved from being normal to one of a
heightened relationship with God and as abnormal as it may sound, she
states that I am not sad to have cancer I am happy I had cancer because
of the transformation that took place personally as well as with family
and her friends and most of all God. She stated quite emphatically that
she asked the Lord for a testimony and believes he gave her this as a
means to let people know that He is alive and still at work fixing our
lives. She believes her faith in God and her relationship with Him caused
the major turnaround in her journey to healing. She believes her relation-
ship with God would not have grown without her experience of cancer.
Words of encouragement:
God knows what He is doing, He has never been wrong in our lives
Once you have the faith and trust in Him no matter what you are facing
your stress will be significantly reduced. Be encouraged that you and
God are on the same page and once you believe that no matter what you
are on the right track. Have faith, trust God!
