As we walk to Quinn’s Convertible, he interjects the silence, “You know, those ten helpful tidbits Reid gave me about you do you no justice.” Quinn’s eyes are focused on the keys in his hands.

As he puts the right key into the lock I ask, “Really?”

“The tidbits Reid gave you about me were spot on then?” Quinn retorts, I almost sense a hint of disappointment in his voice. We both fall onto the leather seats simultaneously.

“I guess so. The tidbits were mostly facts. Such as that you attend the University of California and you like to travel,” I confess as we pull out of the parking spot.

“Wow. He told me you are ambitious, love to help others, your imagination is the brightest out of everyone’s, your eyes and smile always light up the room, you never get jealous, vanity always escapes you, you aren’t jealous, and…. Oh yeah, your pride never gets in your way,” Quinn reads the memorized tidbits out loud.

“And that doesn’t do me any justice?” I ask astonished.

“From the ten minutes I have known you. You are so much more than that,” he counters. His eyes never leaving the road. He keeps making me blush. When I push my gaze to his, the edges of his lips curl up. “He also told me he would kill me if I smiled at you. And here I am flirting.”
