INDIA WINS THE BLIND WORLDCUP
The Blind Cricket World Cup was played during 27th November to 8th December. The Participating Countries were India,
Pakistan, Australia, South Africa, England, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.
During the India- Pakistan final, Pakistan scored 389 for 7 wickets in 40 overs, Pakistan's Muhammad Jamil made his
third century, scoring 107 runs. India managed to reach the target in 39.4 overs, losing 5 wickets in the process. Indian
batsmen, Prakasha Jayaramaiah scored 82 runs, while Ajay Reddy made 74.
It may be mentioned that Pakistan had beaten India by seven wickets in the opening match of the Blind Cricket World
Cup.
