Mark and his crew sailed a near perfect regatta 1st Solutions S Dadour coming away with a convincing win over veterans Roger Hickman in second place Broken Bay PHS: 2nd Sticky R Harris and Peter Sorensen in third place. 3rd Starlight J Noakes RPAYC hosted the Sydney 38 Nationals in very trying conditions sailed off Palm Beach Conspiracy Byford/Hudson this year where Old School scored a second place to Melbourne boat Phoenix. Pittwater Inshore PHS: 1st The series was a hard fought battle right down to the last race, Phoenix nudging out 2nd Windy Too C Russett Old School by one point. 3rd XS Moment Fran & Ray Hudson Congratulations to Mark Griffith and the crew of Old School for these outstanding Pittwater Inshore IRC 1st Alibi BarryJackson results. 2nd Conspiracy Byford/Hudson 3rd Harlequin Williams/Fluhrer The MC 38s had their Australian Championships in May, also hosted by RPAYC. The series was held over 3 days with 11 races completed. Leslie Green’s Ginger being 1st Outlandish G Moore the most consistent boat won the Nationals on a final points tally of 23 to Marcus Lion Island PHS 2nd Bushranger G Hatton Blackmore's Hooligan in second place on 31 points and John Bacon’s Dark Star third 3rd Bombolo D Boekemann on 36 points. 1st Old School M Griffith On behalf of Fleet 1 I would like to thank the numerous volunteers who donate their Lion Island IRC 2nd Conspiracy Byford/Hudson time each week to organise and manage our racing.
