From the Vice Commodore
It seems like only yesterday that I took
over from Ian Audsley as the Vice
Commodore and became engaged with
members through a whole new aspect of
the membership, the depth of
commitment by the Rear Commodores
and the broader sailing community that
our club fosters.

Jubilee Class with 22 Starters. The RPAYC has a distinguished history of members,
both national and international, in many one design classes over many years. More
recently member, Jason Antill, has been actively campaigning to rebuild One Design
Fleets and the second annual Mid-Winter Regatta boasted more than 40 boats. The
Club has developed a One Design Program which provides outstanding value for
under 25 feet One Design sailors to enjoy club facilities and what we hope will soon
be our redeveloped Crystal Bay facilities. This initiative is aimed at bringing back
some “large fleet” grass root sailing that the Alfred’s was once second to none on
