accommodations, Belmond Andean Explorer
is South America’s first luxury sleeper train.
Launching in May 2017, Belmond’s latest
addition bolsters the company’s position as
leaders of luxury travel experiences. Traversing
across one of the world’s highest rail routes,
guests will be amazed with the incredible views
of Peru.
The Train
The interior of the train provides an
atmosphere of calm, enabling a state of
relaxation whilst connecting with nature. The
colours and textures of the interior include soft
ivory Alpaca tones, Andean slate greys, woven
textures and handicrafts. Guests share dining
cars, an observation car, and a lounge car, in
addition to their private accommodations.
Dining Cars
The two stylish dining carriages serve, fresh,
colourful, and seasonal dishes, using locally
sourced ingredients. Menus have been artfully
created by the chefs from Belmond Hotel
Monasterio, Cusco, to promote a holistic
experience.
Observation Car
The Observation Car is the perfect spot to
unwind and let the world pass you by. The large
picture windows offer an ideal vantage point
of the ever-changing scenery. However, make
sure you take the time to breathe in the fresh
Andean air from the open deck.
