an extensive range of meals, burgers and breakfast
muffins as well. The feedback from staff and guests is
that this service differentiates the Holiday Inn Express
from its budget competitors. Selling prices, which are
typically less than a takeaway, are set by the hotel. The
hotel retains the profit on food sales.
Bon Appetit provide a self managed service, with hotel
staff managing the restocking of the vending machine
and ordering of food.
The equipment set up of a branded vending machine,
microwave cabinet and microwaves requires liitle
space as the footprint is only 2 metres wide x 1 metre
deep. The power requirement is only 4 standard wall
sockets.
