a Réserve Paris Hotel & Spa – the recently
opened 40 bedroom hotel particulier in
the 8th arrondissement - is adding a new
wellness breakfast to its highly acclaimed menu.
Taking Paris’ fashion and beauty scene by storm, the
breakfast marries wellbeing and taste in a choice of
gluten free, dairy free and vegan dishes. In the stylish
surroundings of Le Gabriel restaurant, expertly led by
Chef Jerome Banctel, the wellness breakfast serves an
array of organic breakfast cereals including sprouted
buckwheat seeds with biodynamic fruits, and the La
Réserve blend of buckwheat flakes, macadamia nuts,
pine nuts, berries (goji, blueberry, ground cherry,
cranberry, blackcurrant, sea buckthorn, aronia) and
coconut chips. All are served with almond milk. The
healthista’s signature avocado arrives seasoned with
Japanese gomasio roasted in hemp, lemon juice and
Okinawa Omega 3,6,9 oil. Raw vegetable rolls, dressed
with lemon olive oil have also become a breakfast
staple, alongside the cornucopia of seasonal organic
fruit. Keen to sample a Parisian classic without the
calories? La Réserve’s Pain Perdu is made sans gluten
and cooked in coconut sugar, with smidgen of butter
and maple syrup. There are two new detox juices–
firstly a blend of cucumber, celery, spinach, and kale,
with a touch of fennel, granny smith apple and a dash

of lime - full of vitamins, antioxidants and minerals –
and a second with beetroot, carrot, celery, with a dash
of melon, ginger and apple – pe rfect for those lacking
in iron. A delicious tea of fresh ginger, lemon and red
apple is another great start to the day.
