As I haven’t heard from anyone, this will
be a very brief note. I contacted the class
members I have phone numbers for and
could only reach Fitzkee and Gauntlett.
Tried to get Birkmire, no luck.
I informed them that Fred Gerkensmeyer’s wife, Dolores, passed away. Fred seemed
OK at Homecoming.
We are all hanging in there, myself included.

Sarasota, Fla. I hope you all enjoyed a very
Merry Christmas and that this new year is
bringing you renewed good health.
Howard “Mope” Metz surprised me with
a phone call and interesting, lengthy conversation. A few years ago, perhaps with nothing else to do, Howard decided to check out
the new BMW automobiles. He drove home
in a beautiful, blue BMW! Well, the spirit hit
him again and now he’s driving a new shiny,
black, 4-door BMW. He really knows how to
ride in class!
Around the house, his two cats, Jackson
and Casey, keep him entertained. Howard
doesn’t like house cleaning so he has a woman house keeper who comes three times
a week and takes care of all the household
