top tips 1. Look at the budget first and work back from there. It’s no good falling in love with a venue, then realising it’s going to break the bank to have the wedding there. 2. Decide what’s important. For us it was flowers, food, wine and venue. Cut out things that are not as important to you - it is after all a day about the two of you. 3. Choose a venue that reflects you as a couple. A big industrial space might be perfect for some people, but if it’s not you it’s going to be a massive challenge trying to style it. 4. Look after your guests. Umbrellas for if it’s hot and water to keep them hydrated. Don't make them wait hours for you to return from photos - they are there to celebrate with you so try to keep photos close by. 5. Get more photos with your mum. Mums are often busy hosting and as you are too, your paths don't cross nearly enough. My mum looked so beautiful but we had hardly any photos together.
