“We really enjoyed planning the
wedding. It took two years as we
started a business at the same time
so didn't want to stress ourselves
out. When we first got engaged, we
took ourselves out for a long meal
and before we spoke to anybody
else, wrote down all the things we
REALLY wanted. We both knew we
wanted the colours of the Canadian
fall and that our mutual friend GG
should marry us, as he is funny
as hell. We both wanted Luke’s
brother and Pat's sister and niece
in the bridal party. We preferred
a small wedding, with no more
than 60 guests and that it should
be in a big house on a big property.
Once we were definite on what we
wanted, we just had to find it.
Stanley Park was it! The venue
suggested awesome vendors and
we met with them and booked…
simple. We enjoyed working
together on it - we do work together
so we know each other’s strengths
and weaknesses.”
