the panel: An Outdoor Ceremony A stylist, a celebrant, a photographer - three industry experts with three unique perspectives share their advice on what matters most when planning the perfect outdoor wedding ceremony. the stylist Erin from Hope and Lace Wedding Planning and Events suggests keeping outdoor ceremony styling to a minimum. “If you have chosen an outdoor location because it has an amazing green backdrop, let the surroundings do the talking.” She says the focus will be on the couple anyway! The comfort of your guests, whatever the season, is also important to consider. “If the location is a park, do they need insect repellent? If it’s summer, do they need a parasol, sunscreen or water? And in winter, a shawl or umbrella?” During warmer months, Erin’s styling tips include printing your ceremony program onto a fan to keep guests cool, and using a mosquito net as protection for post-ceremony food and drinks – it will look great and keep pests away! “If you have your outdoor ceremony where seasonal flowers are in bloom it can save on decorating costs.” Photography Milque Photography
