We are the VOICE of LMS. We are the creators of the school magazine. At The VOICE of LMS we edit writing, do layout on the computer, and create bulletin boards and flyers to promote the magazine. We work as a team to vote on what will get into the magazine. Our magazine is made on Joomag, a great application that is used to make magazines, newspapers and newsletters.
We are able to make this magazine with the help R.C. Brayshaw who last year did all of the printing for 650 copies of three issues free of charge. This year we are able to make this magazine because of a grant of $2500 given to us by the Byrne Foundation.
With the money from the Byrne Foundation, we plan to do some awesome stuff. This year we are going to print three issues of this magazine, pay for the Joomag application, go to see the printing press on a field trip, and have a logo contest for The VOICE of LMS t-shirts. The winner of the logo contest and all members of The VOICE of LMS will receive shirts.
