Aurora Airport Update
St. Francis
Events for
October
Lute Concert
A concert of lute music will be
performed by world-renowned
Lutenist Ronn McFarlane,
Grammy nominated and living
locally! This concert of early and
contemporary music will make
you feel like you’ve been invited
to jolly old england - in Wilsonville! The concert is Saturday,
October 21 at 7:30 pm. Tickets
($15 - $18) and information are

Taizé Prayer
Taizé Prayer at St. Francis is
offered the first friday of each
month at 7:30 pm
Like the original Taizé community in France, St. Francis
Church, 8818 Miley road in Wilsonville, invites everyone to come
for a time of quiet song, prayer
and reflection. We move chairs
into a semi-circle to sit around the
cross, light candles, sing simple
meditative songs, take time to end
our week thoughtfully and rest in
peace and contemplation. There
is opportunity, but no requirement
to participate, except as each person chooses. The service lasts
less than an hour and is free and
easy.
The Taizé service at St. Francis of Assisi episcopal Church is
a service where people from all or
no traditions can come together
for singing, prayer and reflection.

in the Wilsonville Spokesman of
September 4 - "Aurora airport becoming an eCONOMIC HuB". It
was interesting that one business
owner is quoted in the article as
