The Charbonneau Villager February 2014 Page 21 CHOA Residents Celebrate With Style and Generosity! Students from the Community Transitional School of Portland made this sign as a gift for CHOA residents to honor the many generous gifts given to the school from the homeowner's association. By CHOA Our grand holiday celebration was quite successful once again great food and great spirit. This year, we especially welcomed our 2013 class of new Charbonneau Homeowners Association (CHOA) residents. What a classy 'class' they are! How nice to hear their stories of who they are and why they moved to Charbonneau. And, again this year, our spirit and generosity spilled over to include The Community Transitional School of Portland. We delivered a carload of assorted balls and cars, clothing and socks and an abundance of other toys AND cash - much to the school's and our delight. Their gratitude was overwhelming. This poster is their gift to CHOA, a rather exuberant display of their appreciation. This will hang in the CHOA recreation hall for the next few months. CHOA, you are, indeed, a special community within the greater Charbonneau family. The Charbonneau Golf Club Board held a book signing featuring local authors and golf shareholders Ian McMillan (l), and Pete Swan(r). Head Pro Chris Bensel (c) helped coordinate the event.
