Fifty-two Fifth Grade
students were selected for
this honor based on their
academic and conduct
records.
Guest Speaker Shelby
County Mayor Mark
Luttrell encouraged the
inductees to thank their
parents, always keep
learning, and to be role
models to other students.
During his remarks,
Mayor Luttrell asks new
Beta Club inductees to give
their parents a round of
applause and thank them for
their support.
At the close of the
ceremony, AES Principal
Gina Gore surprised Mayor
Luttrell with his own
induction into the Junior
Beta Club (right).
“My mother would be so
proud,” Luttrell said.
