CAROLI REMMLINGER-OSENKA MFC: Where were you born and raised? CI was born and raised in Poland, next to the Baltic Sea. As a young woman, I moved to Germany. I spent 10 years in total, but I also spent 1 year in Sweden. After Germany, I moved to Switzerland, where I lived for 7 years. As you can see, I love changing my surroundings. MFC: I understand you are currently living in Monaco. Is that where you met Victoria Napolitano? CRO: Exactly. After living in many different countries, I decided to move to Monaco, a little principality on the south of Europe. For those who cannot recall the country – this is the one with the highest number of millionaires per square meter. And yes, this is exactly where I met Victoria Napolitano. I saw her fashion show during the Luxury Lifestyle Gala, and the following day was lucky to meet her personally during the After-Gala Lunch. We started talking and there was an immediate con- nection between us. To make a long story short, she suggested a photo shoot and of course, I said yes. MFC: I heard Victoria put on a spectacular show. Tell me about it. CRO: Oh, you should have seen it! I was mesmerized! Those dresses… OMG…and the violet and blue trousers with the blouse that the singer wore (I believe her name was Sophie). I literally fell in love! Such amaz- ing pieces! I hope this was not the last fashion show of Victoria’s that I will be honoured to see live. MFC: The images of you wearing Victoria Napolitano’s Mademoiselle French Collection couture were stunning. How did it feel to wear her couture and be photographed by Victoria herself? CRO: When I tried on the dress, I literally felt like a queen! Not a prin- cess – a queen! And the golden blouse? I dream about it even now! You know that moment when you put on something THAT beautiful and everything changes? Your posture, the way you walk, your attitude…it was a truly extraordinary experience. And shooting with Victoria her- self? I cannot even find the right words. She is such a fantastic woman – creative, funny, intelligent. Working with her was a real pleasure! Continued...
