Jackson: I don’t remember much.

Scarlet: Yes, you have been diagnosed with amnesia, but your memories may come back with time. In the meantime, tell me what you can remember.

Jackson: I remember an explosion. A really, really bright explosion. What was that?

Scarlet: All we know is that whatever it was sent out the strongest electromagnetic pulse we’ve ever seen. Thousands died from this anomaly, but a rescue team found you unharmed, apart from the mental trauma.

Jackson: … can we do this later?

Scarlet: Take all the time you need.

The man was getting more fragments as the days passed by. With them, however, came a terrible burden. As the memories detailed horrific events, he wished more and more that he could suppress them. Some proved to be faulty. He had had a flashback of seeing a picture of what he knew to be himself with a woman, whom he felt was his wife. Upon looking at a mirror, he saw a man that resembled nothing of the man in the picture. However, those terrifying pieces he kept stumbling on in his mind, he knew them to be true. He had no idea how, but a nagging voice told him they were true.

Session 3 1750 Hours: September 25th, 2017;

Location: Interrogation Room 4 – Secure Facility, Unknown Location

Scarlet: Have you remembered anything new?

Jackson: Yes. I remember little bits and pieces, of seeing someone dying. I think I tried to reach out to him, but then, I think I was too late and he died.

Scarlet: Died how?

Jackson: He just twitched for a few seconds, and then fell to the ground.

Scarlet: Was this before or after the explosion?

Jackson: … I’m not sure.

Scarlet: Anything else?

Jackson: …

Scarlet: Anything else?

Jackson: …

Scarlet: We will continue later.

The man was in a terrible conflict. Almost everything his mind now procured was contradictory to what he saw. He had a memory of a surgery on his left elbow, one which left a large, defined, scar. Inspecting his elbow, he saw no scar. This nightmare continued to no end, as more and more kept surfacing, making him question reality.

Session 4 2300 Hours: March 5th, 2017;

Location: Interrogation Room 4 – Secure Facility, Unknown Location

Scarlet: Let’s begin.

Jackson: I think I remember something.

Scarlet: Please discuss.

Jackson: Before the explosion, I was walking down the street at night. I remember feeling out of place, like…like, I was another person. That’s when I saw the man die, and then the explosion.

Scarlet: Is there anything else?

Jackson: That’s it so far.

Scarlet: Please, Mr. Jackson.

Jackson: …

Scarlet: Is there a problem?

Jackson: My name isn’t Jackson.

Scarlet: Yes, it is. We ran fingerprint and DNA tests. We found your physical description in our database. You are Andrew Miles Jackson.

Jackson: Please, that isn’t my name.

Scarlet: Then what is your name?

Jackson: My name is Opus Torren.

Scarlet: Oh, god.

Jackson: What?

Scarlet: The only other survivor we questioned is Opus Torren. He said his name was Andrew Jackson.
