started from one tiny idea,
one barely visible action
Once created,
the water will never quite
be calm again
I will touch all who come in my path,
which will alter me once again
But I never stop
From my birth,
I have been ever-flowing
ever-swimming
ever-surfing
ever-changing
I will never rest,
for an object in motion
stays in motion
forever

Longer than it is possible to think about
An expanse that continues
until the end of time
Many of my children
have followed me
on my journey,
Created
from my infinite swells
