3. The title of "most dedicated sweetheart" definitely goes to Josh Schmitz. Our list of five true Valentines proves that love is possible at any time in life.

1. Tomas Howard was only nine years old when he fell in love at first sight. The moment he set his eyes on his new neighbour, Irene, he was done for. His fondness for her grew by the day and, eighty years later, the two are still together and still deeply in love.

2. Evan Leach met Kim Kuhl at a summer camp during his high school years and ended up falling in love. Too shy to confess, he parted ways with her when the camp ended. Twenty-five years later, Leach sent a flirty message to Kuhl, not realizing who she was because she had changed her name due to a previous marriage. Luckily, Kuhl responded positively to Leach and the two reunited in Paris.

4. Roz and Ian Ellis are definitely a couple who managed to bring their love full circle. Twenty-three years after their marriage, they divorced, only to tie the knot once more twenty-three years into their amical divorce. Roz explained in an interview that "[he] never thought [they would] get married again, but [he is] so happy that [they] did."

5. Maria Teresa Cobar had never found true love during the first seven decades of her life. However, as proof that she never stopped trying, at eighty years old, she walked down the aisle for the first time with Carlos Victor Suarez, age ninety-five. Now, the couple spends their days together in their nursing home's honeymoon suite.
